Sonja Wärntges has been appointed CEO of German REIT DIC Asset.
She will assume her new role on 1 October 2017, succeeding Aydin Karaduman, who will resign from his position on the management board at the end of 30 September 2017. Wärntges has been serving as CFO of DIC Asset AG since 1 June 2013 and will continue to oversee finance & controlling, in addition to leading the company as CEO.
The company's supervisory board also announced the appointment of Dirk Hasselbring, currently managing director of DIC Asset's operative investment fund management arm DIC Fund Balance, to the management board, where he will assume responsibility for the newly formed funds business function. The term of office for management board member Johannes von Mutius has been extended. He will continue to oversee the Investment Business until 31 December 2020.
