International privately-held retail specialist Sonae Sierra has announced the appointment of Alexandre Fernandes as new head of asset management for Europe.
He will play an active role in the strategic management of the shopping centres, and will be in charge of supervising all the investment and asset management activity in respect to Sonae Sierra’s assets in Europe.
Since joining Sonae Sierra, Fernandes has been in charge of investment and asset management of assets for the Portuguese, Greek and Romanian markets. Until his recent appointment, he was a member of the board and head of asset management at Sonae Sierra for Portugal and Spain.
