Privately-owned asset manager Solidiam has signed the purchase agreement of a 12,000-m[sup]2[/sup] office building in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The deal, which was signed during the MIPIM trade fair in Cannes, involves the Stadhuisplein 10 office property which is fully leased and generate a rental income of EUR 2.2 mln per annum. The vendor is Bayer Pensionskasse, which has held the asset in its portfolio for over 15 years.

As part of the transaction, the occupier of the property, the municipality of Eindhoven has signed a new rental contract with a nine-year period, receiving a commitment from Solidiam to upgrade the asset to high sustainability standards.
