A fund managed by Nordic real estate investor Slättö has sold a new residential property in Stockholm, Sweden to Willhem for SEK 618 mln (€54 mln).
The property, located in Vega, Haninge, features 232 rental apartments with one to four rooms with kitchens. It also includes 83 parking spaces.
The development prioritizes sustainability with green roofs, solar panels, and geothermal heating. The buildings are also environmentally certified and offer excellent access to public transportation and nearby nature.
Erik Dansbo, senior partner and CIO at Slättö, said: ‘The transaction reflects the high demand for quality residential properties and aligns with our focus on developing assets with strong cash flows that are attractive in the market.’
Willhem CEO Mariette Hilmersson added: ‘This deal is completely in line with our strategic direction to continue expanding operations in Stockholm in the coming years.’
Willhem already owns 292 homes in Vega, making this acquisition a significant addition to its portfolio. With this purchase, the company now manages 524 apartments in the same block. In Stockholm, Willhem owns and manages a substantial portfolio of 3,942 rental properties, valued at SEK 9.55 billion (€840 mln).
Slättö’s funds manage a combined €2.5 bn in assets. The firm has completed over 200 transactions with a total value exceeding €4 bn.
