Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Alexey Slesar as partner and head of capital markets for Russia.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Slesar was advisor to the chairman of the board at private Russian investment company Gleden Invest and participated in a number of high-profile investment projects in Russia, CIS and Europe.
Before that, he served as executive vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Russia &CIS where he led the company’s transactional services effort in the region. During the work at JLL Hotels Alexey secured over $500 mln in transaction volume, including acquisition of the first two hotel assets in Russia after the 2008 economic crisis.
Slesar was vice president for development and member of the management board at the Mirax Group, one of the largest real estate companies in Russia, from 2008/2010.
Cushman & Wakefield has also announced a number of other appointments. Bezverkhiy joins the capital markets department as associate. He has more than 8 years’ experience in real estate and finance sectors, including 6 years in KPMG.
In addition, Cushman & Wakefield capital markets department has hired Vladimir Demishin as Junior Consultant. He graduated from UCL and studied mathematics in Lomonosov Moscow State University.
