Slättö's rapid growth, with assets under management reaching €2.5 bn in Q2 2024, has fueled its expansion into Denmark. This marks its third Nordic market, following successful operations in Sweden and Finland.

Anders Østergaard Hansen brings with him extensive experience in investment and real estate development. His most recent role was at NREP, where he led the office business line, overseeing investment, development, and construction. Previously, he also worked for The Lego Group and McKinsey & Company.

Erik Dansbo, partner and CIO at Slättö said: ‘In Denmark, Slättö aims to replicate the success we have seen in Finland, where we have made investments with strong return prospects and grown our portfolio to €300 mln. Our approach to entering new markets is built on strong local expertise, off-market deal sourcing, and a focused strategy targeting both smaller and mid-sized investments. Over the past two years, we have maintained an active deal flow in Denmark and have regularly assessed the market. We believe the timing is ideal to make our first acquisition in Denmark, with attractive opportunities in the residential, light industrial, logistics, and hotel segments.’

Anders Østergaard Hansen added: ‘I look forward to contributing to the growth of Slättö's business and presence in Denmark, especially during this dynamic period for the real estate market. The convergence of mega-trends, macroeconomic factors, and shifting local conditions continues to create compelling investment opportunities for proactive investors like Slättö.’

Since its inception in 2013, Slättö has executed over 200 transactions valued at €4 bn. The firm's assets under management now stand at €2.5 bn.
