Swedish property and construction company Skanska has won a NOK 410 mln (€35.9 ln) contract from Andenæs Eiendom to build the next phase of an urban development west of Oslo.
The latest phase of the Helgerudkvartalet project in Sandvika is a mixed-use building with about 8,500 m2 of living space and 8,200 m2 of commercial space.
The lower floors include shops and restaurants, and the higher floors contain three residential towers with 86 apartments.
The project will be environmentally certified in accordance with BREEAM NOR Excellent.
Construction will start in December 2023 and the building should be completed in Q4 2025.
Helgerudkvartalet is a large urban development project that will eventually consist of two quarters totaling 60,000 m2 with a combination of commercial and residential buildings.
The six residential buildings will range from 6 to 10 storeys in height and will include 230 residential units of various sizes.
For Andenæs Eiendom, which owns a number of properties in Sandvika, this will be its largest project since the early 2000s.
