Swedish construction firm and developer Skanska and Scandinavian housing developer Obos have teamed up for two joint venture projects in Norway.
The plan foresees the development and construction of some 700 homes in Oslo and Bærum for an overall investment of NOK 318 mln (€27 mln).
Skanska will invest NOK 525 mln (€45 mln) for a 50% stake in Obos’s Nansenløkka project in exchange for the divestment of 50% of its Økern Park project for NOK 207 mln (€18 mln) to Obos.
Nansenløkka on Fornebu in Bærum will offer to the market around 400 units with construction expected in Q4 2023.
For its part, Økern Park on Økern in Oslo will consist of some 300 units and, the expected start of construction is the Q4 2025.
