Sweden's Skanska was awarded a contract to develop a EUR 95.4 mln building at Crown Place, central London, from Greycoat Crown Place Partnership.

The property will encompass 18 floors, 26,000 m2 of office space and 600 m2 for retail use, as well as a parking in the basement level. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2008, the Swedish group said in a press release.

Skanska UK is active in building construction and civil engineering as well as utilities and building services. In 2005, the company reported revenues of EUR 1.17 bn.
