The Polish arm of Swedish construction group Skanska plans to acquire four plots of land in Poland to develop new office projects after having sold a total of four developments this year worth a combined €300 mln.

In 2013, the company divested four office complexes with a combined leasing area of almost 85,000 m2. They included the Green Towers in Wroclaw for €64 mln, Nordea House and the Green Corner complex in Warsaw for €95 mln as well as Atrium 1 in Warsaw for €94 mln.

'In 2014 we aim to purchase four new land plots for office projects, at least one in Warsaw and three in regional cities,' said Waldemar Olbryk, president of Skanska Property Poland. 'We are aware that only having the best plots purchased early enough will make it possible to deliver office space to tenants at the right location, time and standard.'

Projects currently under construction by Skanska include Kapelanka 42 in Kraków, Dominikañski in Wroclaw as well as the Silesia business park in Katowice. A new office complex at Rondo Daszyñskiego in Warsaw is at a nearly preparatory stage.
