Pan-European construction and development group Skanska is investing €47 mln in a new 21,500 m2 office building in Wroclaw, Poland.
The 13-storey asset, including 200 underground parking places, will form part of the Centrum Poludnie office complex being developed by Skanska in Wroclaw’s new business district. It will target LEED Platinum, WELL Core & Shell, WELL Health & Safety Rating and Building without Barriers certification.
Construction will start in September 2021 and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Centrum Poludnie is Skanska's seventh development in Wroclaw. It will have a total usable space of about 85,000 m2. The first phase, consisting of two buildings with a total leasable area of 28,100 m2, is more than 60% leased.
Swedish-based Skanska has operations in the Nordics, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and the UK. The firm develops office properties in Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary, and is active in the residential sector in Poland, the Czech Republic and the UK with the BoKlok concept.
