Swedish builder-developer Skanska has sold a domestic nursing home project and office development to Stockholm-listed investor Hemfosa for a total SEK 449 mln (48.4 mln).

Located in Uppsala, the nursing home project provides room for 72 residents over 5,600 m2.

The office project in Jönköping is a joint venture between defence and security company Saab and Skanska, with Skanska developing Saab’s new office space of around 8,500 m2 and production facilities of 3,100 m2. Saab has signed a 20-year lease for both properties.

Construction work has started on both projects, with completion due in May 2015 and July 2016 respectively.

Skanska will book the transaction in its Q4 2014 results.
