Swedish construction and property group Skanska has announced the sale of phase I of Nowy Rynek, an office building within a mixed-use project in Poznan, Poland, for €73 mln, about SEK 700 mln.
The name of the buyer is confidential.
The six-story office building will provide a total leasable area of around 25,000 m2 and is expected to receive LEED Gold certification. Construction of the first phase started in July 2017 and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2019.
The transfer of the property is scheduled for the second quarter of 2019.
Nowy Rynek is Skanska’s third commercial development in Poznan. The complex will comprise five independent buildings located in the central business district, creating a new quarter in the city of Poznan. Nowy Rynek will encompass offices and retail with a new public square that will host activities available for the local community.
