Construction and development group Skanska has sold the Bassängkajen office property in the Swedish city of Malmö to Swedish property company Vasakronan. The deal was conducted as a corporate transaction, in which the price was based on a property value of SEK 652 mln (EUR 74 mln).

Construction and development group Skanska has sold the Bassängkajen office property in the Swedish city of Malmö to Swedish property company Vasakronan. The deal was conducted as a corporate transaction, in which the price was based on a property value of SEK 652 mln (EUR 74 mln).

The transaction is planned to close in the third quarter of 2012.

Bassängkajen consists of seven floors with garage in the basement and comprises a total of 16,200 m2 of leasable office space. The three largest tenants are the Malmo University, Visma and Awapatent. The office building is one of Scandinavia's first with a Platinum pre-certification according to the LEED environmental certification system.
