Construction and development giant Skanska has sold the Grona Skrapan office complex in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The purchase amount is SEK 617 mln (€70 mln) and the buyer is a division of Swedish shipping company Stena Fastigheter.

The newly built complex offers approximately 17,000 m2 of lettable area and is currently home to tenants including Swedish firms Skanska, Gunnebo, Apply Emtunga and Hitta.se.

The building is certified LEED ‘platinum’ and in 2012 received the Sweden Green Building Award in the LEED New Construction category for ‘exemplary environmental performance’.

CBRE advised Skanska on the transaction.
