Sweden's Skanska is investing DKK 560 mln (€75 mln) in a residential project in the Ørestad City, a new living and working area taking shape in the Danish capital Copenhagen.
The investment is being made through Skanska Commercial Development Nordic, part of the international construction and development company.
The project comprises 27,300 m2 and consists of 300 rental apartments, ranging from 57 to 132 m2 and a 1,200 m2 convenience store.
Sjælsø Management is the management contractor for the project. Construction begins in May 2016 and completion is scheduled for the second quarter 2018.
Skanska Commercial Development Nordic initiates and develops property projects in offices, logistics, business premises and commercial buildings. Skanska now has over 900 rental apartments under construction in Copenhagen, of which 600 are sold.
