Mandelblomman

This project, comprising 156 apartments, 75 parking spaces, and two commercial premises, has a construction contract valued at around SEK 350 mln (€30 mln).

The four-to-seven-story building will feature apartments ranging from one to five rooms, a rooftop terrace, and a landscaped courtyard.

Mandelblomman will incorporate sustainable features, including solar panels covering 55% of the roof, 15 electric vehicle charging stations in the garage, and a shared car and bicycle pool.

Constructed using low-impact concrete, the building's energy consumption is 15% below BBR standards, and, like all of Skanska's Swedish residential developments, it will receive Nordic Ecolabel certification.

The building will include battery storage capable of providing grid support services to Svenska kraftnät, generating additional income for the residents' association.

Construction begins in December 2024, with phased occupancy starting in summer 2026 and concluding by April 2027.
