International construction and development firm Skanska has completed three sales worth €225 mln to Vasakronan, Aberdeen and Entra in the markets of Stockholm and Oslo.
Skanska divested office property Sthlm Seaside (pictured) in Stockholm to Vasakronan for about SEK 900 mln (€93 mln).
The 12,500 m2 Sthlm Seaside is part of the first phase of Skanska's investment in Sthlm New Creative Business Spaces in the area Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm, and is located along Hammarby Canal. Softronic, the Internet Foundation in Sweden, Arrowhead Game Studios, Silentium and Yggdrasil Gaming are among the tenants.
Skanska has also sold the office building Sthlm 03 in Stockholm to Aberdeen for about SEK 440 mln (€46 mln). This 6,500 m2 property is also part of the first stage of Sthlm’s New Creative Business Spaces. Tenants include Boehringer Ingelheim, Lantmäteriet, Polystar, Erik Olsson Fastighetsförmedling and Wayne’s Coffee.
The Oslo deal has seen Skanska sell its 50% stake in the 31,000 m2 Sundtkvartalet office property to co-developer Entra for NOK 796 mln (€84 mln). It is Skanska Commercial Development Nordics first project in Oslo and was completed in December 2016. Among the tenants are Skanska Norway, Know IT, Manpower, IBM and Tidal.
