Skanska is developing and selling a combined office and residential project in Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm. The total price tag amounts to about SEK 450 mln (EUR 48 mln). Developed by Skanska Sweden, the project consists of a residential building with 80 apartments and a 6,000-m[sup]2[/sup] office building. These are being acquired by Familjebostäder, which will move its head office to part of the office building.

Developed by Skanska Sweden, the project consists of a residential building with 80 apartments and a 6,000-m2 office building. These are being acquired by Familjebostäder, which will move its head office to part of the office building.
In the second phase a 7,500 m2 eight-storey office building will be developed, the company said. The buyer of this part is Areim Fond 1, its first investment in the Swedish market.
Construction of the project is being carried out by Skanska Sweden and will begin in spring 2008, with the new tenants set to move in during the first half of 2010.
Skanska Sweden focuses on the construction of residential, public and commercial premises as well as infrastructure throughout Sweden. The business unit has about 11,000 employees and reported revenues in 2006 of about SEK 24 bn. In Sweden, Skanska is also active in the development of residential and commercial properties.
