Swedish construction group Skanska has sold part of its Entré Lindhagen complex in Stockholm to Invesco Real Estate for around SEK 1 bn (€110 mln).
It will lease back the 20,500 m2 site building which it uses as the headquarters for 1,100 staff.
Skanska bought Entré Lindhagen in 2008 to build 55,000 m2 of office space over two properties. The remaining part is let to companies including financial services firm Nordea and ten-pin bowling company Ballbreaker.
‘We look forward to investing the capital from the sale into new projects, such as Stockholm New and Solna United,’ said Caroline Arehult, CEO of Skanska Property.
‘This is the seventh acquisition that we have done together with Invesco Real Estate in Sweden and we intend to undertake more during 2014’, said Joen Siggelin at Scius Partners, which has been working with Invesco as local partner in the region since 2007.
