Swedish property and construction giant Skanska has acquired the Five! development scheme in the Andìl-Smíchov commercial district of Prague from German group Hochtief for an undisclosed amount.
Swedish property and construction giant Skanska has acquired the Five! development scheme in the Andìl-Smíchov commercial district of Prague from German group Hochtief for an undisclosed amount.
The scheme, located on Na Valentince Street, consists of 14,500 m2 and is located near Skanska's Riverview project which was leased up and sold in November to global investment manager Invesco Real Estate for €20 mln.
The Riverview building comprises 7,000 m2 of leasable office space of which 90% is occupied by pharmaceuticals company MSD.
The seller was represented by DTZ and law firm bnt, while JLL and Dentons acted for the buyer.
The acquisition follows a number of sales carried out by Skanska across Central and Eastern Europe in the past two months. In December, the company sold its first office project in Romania to London AIM-listed property company Globalworth for €44 mln.
Green Court Bucharest comprises three office buildings with a total leasable area of 52.000 m2 and has received LEED Gold pre-certification.
In November, CEE-focused investor Griffin Real Estate acquired Skanska's Green Horizon office complex in the Polish city of Lodz for SEK 600 mln (€66 mln).
Separately, Skanska sold an office project in Krakow for €29 mln to Polish fund Reino Dywidenda FIZ while in Wroclaw it completed the sale of the Dominikanski office building to German fund manager Union Investment for around SEK 1 bn (€117 mln).
