Danish real estate company Sjaelso Gruppen is selling office and residential projects with a combined value of approximately EUR 84 mln.
Sjaelso has announced that it has concluded an agreement to sell an office project in the port area of Copenhagen to PFA Pension valued at around DKK 350 mln (EUR 47 mln). Consisting of around 10,000 m2, construction will start immediately and be handed over in December 2008, when the property is expected to have three to five tenants. One of these will be Devoteam Consulting, with whom PFA have already concluded a rental agreement for around 20% of the available space. PFA Director Michael Willumsen said that the property would be a quality construction with a good location by the port, and that it was in line with their strategy to invest in large quality properties, and typically headquarter properties with good locations.
Sjælsø has also agreed the sale of a residential project in TV-Byen (the former Danish broadcasting area in Gladsaxe) to Danish packaging company Brødrene Hartmann. With the previously announced sale of the new headquarters building for Hartmann in Gentofte, the combined value will be around DKK 275 mln (approximately EUR 37 mln). The projects will be handed over to Hartmann as they are completed. The new residential project comprises around 8,700 m2 and is expected ready for use in the spring of 2009.
