Finnish real estate manager Sirius Capital Partners, through a recently formed affiliate, has purchased a portfolio of four residential buildings in Helsinki, Finland.
The portfolio comprises 251 apartments and totals 10,000 m2. Previously, these assets belonged to Oivat Kaupunkikodit Ky, a residential fund of Finnish asset manager eQ.
Constructed between 2021 and 2023, all the buildings are new and high-quality. They are also compliant with EU environmental standards and equipped with solar panels.
The geographically diverse portfolio spans Finland, with two properties in the Helsinki area, and one each in Tampere and Turku. The total value of the acquisition is around €45mln.
Jonas Ahblad, CIO of Sirius Capital Partners, said: ‘This is a great first acquisition for our newly established residential vehicle. Our objective is to build up a sizeable portfolio of standing, but newly built residential buildings with strong ESG features in great locations. This portfolio fits the strategy perfectly.’
Sirius Capital Partners has established four investment funds and one listed company, securing over €650 mln in equity capital for these five vehicles. Currently, they manage their third and fourth funds, Sirius Fund III and Sirius Fund IV.
