Singapore-based real estate investment firm M&L Hospitality has acquired the former Arora Hotel Heathrow for an undisclosed sum off a headline price of £45 mln (€63 mln).
The sale, which was brokered by property adviser Christie + Co, follows a highly competitive process, according to Jeremy Jones, head of hotels brokerage at Christie + Co.
'This is a prime piece of hotel real estate which piqued interest from domestic and international players looking to enter or expand their presence in the UK,' said Jones.
Located adjacent to one of the world’s busiest airports, the hotel boasts 350 hotel guest bedrooms, a restaurant, bar and a range of meeting and function rooms.
