BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management has acquired an office building in the eastern French city of Lyon. The transaction was announced on the first day of the SIMI real estate fair in Paris.

BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management has acquired an office building in the eastern French city of Lyon. The transaction was announced on the first day of the SIMI real estate fair in Paris.

The newly built Chrysalis building provides 11,620 m2 of office space and is fully let to French multinational utilities and transport firm Veolia Environnement.

Located in the Lyon suburb of Vaulx-en-Velin, the Hubert Godet-designed building was developed by local firm Groupe Cardinal and boasts a HQE sustainability certificate.

Paris-based property group BNP Paribas REIM acquired the asset for an undisclosed price on behalf of its Accimmo SCPI investment vehicle. The acquisition lifts the fund's portfolio to 48 commercial property assets with a combined value of €820 mln.
