French listed property company Silic has completed the development of a 16,400-m[sup]2[/sup] mixed-use building located within its La Défense - Nanterre Préfecture business park, in the western suburbs of Paris. The new Grand Axe 2 property was fully leased by Silic to the Groupe Axa France, which already occupies Grand Axe 1.

French listed property company Silic has completed the development of a 16,400-m2 mixed-use building located within its La Défense - Nanterre Préfecture business park, in the western suburbs of Paris. The new Grand Axe 2 property was fully leased by Silic to the Groupe Axa France, which already occupies Grand Axe 1.

The scheme was designed by architects Arte Charpentier and Gérard Simonetti-Malaspina. It offers a total of nearly 16,000 m2 of office space and 500 m2 of retail accomodation. The asset is the 11th building built by Silic in the business park, representing a total of 173,600 m2 of developed space let to over 50 tenants.

Paris-based Silic has a portfolio of over 1.2 million m2 of commercial real estate in the Ile-de-France region, valued at around EUR 3.3 bn. The company specialises in the development of business parks in the districts of La Défense, Orly-Rungis et Roissy-Paris Nord 2.
