Mark Siezen is to join Dutch institutional investment manager Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors in the newly created role of chief client officer (CCO).
Siezen joins from CBRE Netherlands, where he was executive director and a member of the board, with effect from 1 November.
He will be responsible for Bouwinvest’s investor services and the growth of institutional client capital. Client management encompasses the company’s capital raising, as well as its fund, mandates and fiduciary management functions.
Prior to a management board position at CBRE Netherlands, Siezen held various senior management positions at Multi Cooperation, NSI, Cofra Holding (including at Redevco and C&A).
Dick van Hal, CEO Bouwinvest, said: 'Mark Siezen’s appointment and the creation of his new CCO role mark an important step in the professionalisation of Bouwinvest’s investor services and our growth strategy.
'We have made the transition from a mainly product-focused organisation to a client-centric organisation and Mark’s background and experience are a good match for representing our investors’ interests on the Bouwinvest board.'
