Germany's Siemens Real Estate has acquired an office building in the Moscow business district of Zamoskvorechye from Russian property company Legion Development. The financial details of this transaction were not disclosed.

Germany's Siemens Real Estate has acquired an office building in the Moscow business district of Zamoskvorechye from Russian property company Legion Development. The financial details of this transaction were not disclosed.

The German electronic equipment manufacturer plans to use the property as its new regional CIS headquarters. The newly developed Class-A office building offers 29,000 m2 of office space and will house 1,200 staff after completion planned for next autumn. The move is aimed at bringing together Siemens' several offices across the Russian capital.

Law firm Salans advised Legion Development on the disposal. Jones Lang LaSalle acted as leasing agent in the transaction.
