Garrison also believes the often maligned sovereign wealth funds play a useful role in today’s investment markets. 'Sovereign funds provide the capital that allows businesses to grow. So we don’t want to shut off that source of capital, but we do have to understand what is a fairly new phenomenon in the US, the UK and Europe,' he said.
