Segro confirms talks with Roxhill to develop logistics sites in UK

UK REIT Segro has confirmed it is in talks with logistics developer Roxhill over a deal to increase its presence in the UK big-box sector.

In a statement, Segro said: ‘The arrangement would involve Segro and Roxhill working together over a period of years to develop a number of land sites in the midlands and south-east regions of the UK, which are currently held under option by Roxhill.’

Roxhill currently owns 684 ha of land in the UK, 445 ha of it with options. The vast majority of its sites are in the midlands and south-east.

‘There is no guarantee that an agreement will be reached and a further announcement will be made if and when appropriate,´ Segro said.
