Secure Property Development & Investment has announced the appointment of Ned Goodman as special adviser to its board.

Ned Goodman is the founder of the Dundee Group of Companies in Canada. He is president and CEO of Dundee Corporation, a publicly-traded Canadian asset management company which focuses primarily on investments in real assets.

Goodman founded the Dundee Group in 1991, which, under his leadership, became a $50 bn mutual fund entity. The Dundee Group has extensive exposure to North American and European real estate, while it is also active in South East European markets, mostly in the mining sector.

He became a shareholder of Secure earlier in the year following an investment at the time of the company’s share placing in January.

Secure Property, incorporated in Cyprus, is a property company focusing on South Eastern Europe. The company’s portfolio comprises the Terminal Brovary logistics park in Kiev and four development projects at different stages of progression.
