SEB ImmoInvest has distributed another €368 mln to its investors, bringing total payouts by the real estate fund in liquidation to €1.7 bn, or 30% of its assets.

The latest payment was made on 1 July and came to €3.16 per unit.

SEB Asset Management said around 29% of fund assets, or €1.7 bn, has been returned to investors within a very short period of time since the fund’s dissolution was announced in May 2012.

The liquidity for the latest capital repayment was largely generated by the disposal of properties in the first half of 2013. These include the disposal of a German portfolio to Dundee International REIT, the disposal of two hotel properties in Berlin to ARTIC, a subsidiary of Al Faisal Holding, as well as the disposal of two individual properties in Berlin and Prague.
