SEB Asset Management has acquired the new headquarters for Dutch telecoms firm KPN in Amsterdam from Dutch project developer OVG Real Estate. The six-storey office building with 23,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of total rental space and 190 parking spaces has been leased to KPN for ten years with the option of an extension.

The six-storey office building with 23,000 m2 of total rental space and 190 parking spaces has been leased to KPN for ten years with the option of an extension.

The new KPN office building, worth EUR 98.5 mln, was acquired for the SEB ImmoInvest mutual fund worth EUR 6.1 bn are now broadly diversified across 18 national markets in Europe, North America and Asia. The geographical focus continues to be on Germany with 67 properties, followed by the Netherlands (20) and France (12). 'The focus of the fund's investments in 2009 will continue to be on the European core markets including Germany', said Barbara Knoflach, CEO of SEB Asset Management.
