Schroders Property said it sold 748 residential units across Germany on behalf of its German Residential Fund in 2011, generating total proceeds of over EUR 85 mln.
Sale prices for assets in Munich in particular increased over the year due to strong demand, Schroders said. The residential fund achieved a total return of 6.4% and a return on equity for investors of 10%. Vacancy levels fell slightly to 5%.
The value of the remaining portfolio increased by around 1.3% last year.
