UK property investor Schroders has confirmed that it has acquired two Hoxton Hotels in Amsterdam and Paris for a total €260 mln.
The acquisition, first reported by UK media, was confirmed by the investment manager to PropertyEU although the deal has not yet been officially announced.
The assets were put on the market earlier this year by Sharan Pasricha, the wealthy entrepreneur who founded the trendy Hoxton hotel chain.
The Hoxton in Amsterdam is located at Herengracht 255 and has 111 rooms and a bar-restaurant. The Parisian asset is located in the second arrondissement, and has 172 rooms as well as a bar and brasserie.
Eastdil Secured advised on the deal.
The Hoxton comprises 11 hotels in six countries representing 1,988 rooms. In addition, 11 new hotels are under development under the brand, which is one of the labels of British hospitality company Ennismore, founded in 2011 by Pasricha.
In 2021, Ennismore entered into a joint venture with hotel operator Accor, in which Accor has a majority stake.
