Schroder Property Investment Management, the German fund management unit of London-based Schroders, has sold a German residential portfolio to Frankfurt-based housing company and asset manager Industria Wohnen for EUR 200 mln.

Schroder Property Investment Management, the German fund management unit of London-based Schroders, has sold a German residential portfolio to Frankfurt-based housing company and asset manager Industria Wohnen for EUR 200 mln.

The package, owned by the Schroder German Residential Fund, includes 2,200 residential and 175 commercial units in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and North Rhine-Westphalia, with a total GLA of 156,800 m2.

The assets are earmarked for the spezialfonds Wohnen Deutschland. International law firm Clifford Chance advised the seller.
