US real estate investor Scannell Properties has sold its logistics warehouse near Barcelona to real estate fund LaSalle for €35 mln.
Opened last October, the 21,000 m2 warehouse is occupied by French aeronautical firm Daher.
The logistics asset boasts BREEAM Very Good certification, as well as a full ESG model. It is located in the industrial area of Barcelona, 15 km from the centre of the Catalan capital and 25 km from the port, and onward access to Madrid and France.
The warehouse was Scanell Properties’ first investment when arriving in Spain in 2021.
At the time, it acquired a 41,500 m2 plot of land in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, one of Barcelona’s best-located industrial parks, investing €25 mln for the purchase of the land and the redevelopment.
Real estate consultants CBRE and Invertica advised Scannell Properties on the sale.
