Scannell Properties, a real estate development and investment company specialising in large-scale industrial and logistics projects, has appointed Mauro Zanaga as expansion director in Italy.
Zanaga brings over 16 years' experience in both technical and commercial aspects of logistics development, with a broad spectrum of skills from identifying and acquiring sites, liaising with municipalities and managing building contracts and tenant relations. Having spent more than 10 years with AF Logistic Spa, a leading Italian 3PL, he also has a deep knowledge of occupier requirements. He joins Scannell from VGP where, most recently, he worked as Property & Commercial manager in Italy.
In his new role at Scannell Properties, Zanaga will have responsibility for identifying and securing future sites in prime locations, primarily along the A1 motorway, the backbone to Italy’s supply chains.
Scannell entered Italy in 2019 and currently has several large-scale, speculative projects including one at Bologna Airport (Emilia-Romagna region) and San Pietro Mosezzo (Novara Region).
