Marcus Lemli, CEO Germany and head of investment Europe at Savills said: 'With the promotion of Jan-Niklas Rotberg, we have been able to place the management of our national office agency in the hands of a talented and experienced executive who knows the company and its employees very well.

'We will use his expertise and network to further develop our German business and to expand the cooperation with our international colleagues.'

Rotberg will take over from Panajotis Aspiotis, who has held the position of head of office agency on an interim basis since 2019.

'We are delighted that Jan-Niklas is taking over as head of the division. It confirms our approach at Savills to promote our own employees and to support them in their further development,' said Panajotis Aspiotis, who will now fully concentrate on his role as a member of Savills Germany’s management team.

Rotberg joined Savills in 2011 as a consultant in the Düsseldorf office agency team. In 2016, he was promoted to lead the local office agency team, before moving to Berlin in 2018 to lead the office agency team there.

Rotberg will continue his role as head of the office agency team in Berlin. The Berlin office has been managed by J. Philipe Fischer since January 2019.

'Our focus is to expand and further develop our national agency team. In cooperation with the local teams, we will build future-oriented strategies,' Rotberg said. 'Furthermore, the development of our employees and hiring and promoting new talent will continue to have the highest priority.'
