International real estate advisor Savills has this week opened in Seville, the business’ fifth location in Spain after Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga and Valencia.
Savills has been active in Spain for more than 30 years and currently employs more than 40 people in Andalusia.
Seville receives over 2 million tourists per year and the market fundamentals are strong for both the retail and hospitality sector. There are currently 26 ongoing hotel projects in town, that will add almost 2,000 rooms to the city, an uplift of 18%. In terms of logistics, the city’s strategic location and the availability of land are driving investor interest.
José Félix Pérez Peña, head of Savills Andalusia, commented, ‘We have been eager to set up in Seville for many years. We have a great understanding of the market there and we are delighted to finally establish a foothold in this beautiful city.’
