International property services provider Savills has announced the launch of a new Hotels & Serviced Apartment division in China. Established as a result of demand from existing clients, the new department will provide investors, developers and owners with consultancy and full operational services from the initial design, development and configuration of buildings, through to their continued marketing, management and ongoing operation.

Established as a result of demand from existing clients, the new department will provide investors, developers and owners with consultancy and full operational services from the initial design, development and configuration of buildings, through to their continued marketing, management and ongoing operation.
Savills said that it has appointed Neil Harvey to head the new division. Prior to joining Savills, Harvey was general manager for Oakwood Asia Pacific, Oakwood Residence Beijing & Oakwood Apartments Beijing. He established the Oakwood brand in Seoul, Korea and has held senior positions with such companies as Swissotel, Hilton Hotels and Mandarin Oriental.
The Hotel & Serviced Apartment division currently provides operations consultancy services for the Shanghai portfolio of a well-known investment company.
