International property advisor Savills has announced the launch of a new corporate finance team in Frankfurt. The office begins operating today (1 October) 2010 through the transfer of existing director Christian Glock MRICS and associate director Dr Simon Kempf from its Berlin office.

International property advisor Savills has announced the launch of a new corporate finance team in Frankfurt. The office begins operating today (1 October) 2010 through the transfer of existing director Christian Glock MRICS and associate director Dr Simon Kempf from its Berlin office.

Glock and Kempf, who joined Savills in 2007 from PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a postgraduate of European Business School respectively, will set up the team in response to the increased interest in services valuation and transaction advice. In addition to traditional valuation services, they will support the purchase of performing and non-performing loans as well as portfolio sales.

Drazenko Grahovac, managing director of Savills corporate finance - valuation, says: 'In the medium-term we aim to growth the team to 12 or 15 staff members and we already secured our first recruits.'

Savills' existing corporate finance - valuation team in Berlin comprises around 20 members. Clients include Eurohypo, Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo, Societe Generale, Morgan Stanley and Lone Star.
