Savills Investment Management has recruited Barbara Linnemann as head of asset management in Germany.
She joins from Apleona Argoneo, part of German real estate services group Apleona, where she was in charge of the asset management operations.
Linnemann has more than 25 years of experience in the international real estate sector, with previous roles including positions with Vivico (now CA Immo), Shaftesbury Asset Management and a property management joint venture in Germany between Corpus Sireo and Morgan Stanley.
As the new head of Savills IM’s German asset management team, she will be responsible for driving the expansion of the business, notably the growing area of international mandates. She will also be responsible for the planning, management, implementation and control of all value-enhancing measures in the German real estate portfolio, which comprises around €2 bn.
