Savills has hired Patrick Neumann as director and team leader for the North German logistics agency market, as well as Mirja Maske and Andrea de Bruyn, starting next month.
Patrick Neumann was most recently head of industrial and logistics Hamburg at Colliers International Germany. He has previously worked for Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE.
'Despite the uncertain economic situation as a result of the pandemic, we saw a price increase in the top segment for logistics properties in the third quarter of 2020,’ said Panajotis Aspiotis, managing director at Savills Germany. ‘In addition to the current low interest rate level, this is due in particular to the continuing e-commerce boom, which is accompanied by a significant increase in demand for logistics space. In view of Savills expansion and specialisation strategy, the establishment of an industrial agency at the Hamburg location is therefore a logical and consistent step.’
