The office will be rebranded as Savills with immediate effect. The White team was established in 2007 by Bernd-Uwe Willer, and was joined by directors Robert Kellershohn and Panajotis Aspiotis, all of whom previously worked for Atisreal.
The new business will provide investment and agency services specialising in offices, with further expansion planned into other sectors, Savills said. The new team will be led by managing director Bernd-Uwe Willer.
'Savills Germany has grown substantially over the last three years and now provides a full range of property services from each of its locations, which is reflected in the 65% increase in turnover achieved in that period. A move into the Rhine Ruhr region, which is the biggest conurbation in Germany, provides us with considerable growth opportunities and we are delighted to have found the right team to establish the Savills office for us in that market,' said Jeremy Helsby, CEO of Savills.
The 'Metropolitan Region Rhine-Ruhr' comprises about 11 million inhabitants, making it the biggest conurbation in Germany, and after London and Paris the third biggest in Europe. It includes the cities of Cologne (Köln), Dortmund, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Essen.
