The two companies said the partnership will also work in the opposite direction through the referral of Russian buyers to Savills UK and its international offices. 'It is very exciting to be involved in the growing Moscow market as the potential for fantastic referrals of Russians wanting to buy in the U,' said Jonathan Hewlett, Savills director for top-end London sales. 'In 2005 Russian buyers made up 21% of Savills sales of prime Central London homes and apartments over EUR 5 mln, and already by October 2006 they have made up 25%.'
