Savills creates new debt position in Germany

Savills has appointed Björn Kunde as head of debt advisory services in Germany, a new position within the Corporate Finance – Valuation (CFV) team.

Based in Savills' Berlin office, Kunde will support the further expansion of transaction business in the portfolio segment as well as taking responsibility for the debt advisory business line in Germany.

He joins Savills from Deloitte & Touche, where he worked since 2012, most recently as director of corporate finance and restructuring services. In this role, he was primarily responsible for overseeing equity and debt transactions in the real estate and financial services sectors. He was also a member of the German real estate management team at Deloitte.

Previously, Kunde spent six years at the real estate subsidiary of HSH Nordbank, where he was a divisional director of portfolio management/M&A from 2009.
