International real estate advisor Savills has strengthened its Portuguese retail team with the appointment of Rita Vasconcelos, who has joined as a retail senior consultant.
Vasconcelos boasts over twenty years business and marketing management experience, specialising in the retail sector.
She brings to her new role the successful repositioning of renowned brands like Zippy, during which she implemented lifestyle-focused strategies that led to the successful launch of their first flagship standalone store.
Her appointment follows the recent hiring of Paulo Monteiro, who also joined as a retail senior consultant last year. The bolstering of the team aligns with Savills’ acquisition of Predibisa in Portugal, in a move towards geographic expansion in the country.
