International real estate advisor Savills has recruited Ann-Katrin Kaiser to its DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) hotels team.
Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Kaiser is expected to boost Savills' EMEA operations with her experience in hotel management and transactions.

Her several years of experience in both hotel transactions and hotel management will be of huge value in supporting our work in the German, Austrian and Swiss markets, at a time when increasing amounts of global capital is targeting the European hotel sector,' said Richard Dawes, director in the Savills EMEA hotels team.
'Our strong track record across the region, including brokering the €375 mln acquisition of Hilton Vienna for a Korean consortium, is testament to the growing demand for best-in-class European gateway hotel assets.'

Investment in European hotels has been rising by 6% pa on average since 2015, according to Savills research. In Germany, hotel transaction volumes last year reached almost €4 bn, an increase of 21% on the previous year.
