International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Christopher LaRue as head of its industrial agency for Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
LaRue has 15 years of experience in the real estate and industrial sector, including more than 10 on the agency side and nearly five in manufacturing and ecommerce.
Prior to joining Savills, LaRue worked at US technical power solutions firm, StayOnline, as operations and international sales manager, with responsibility for the European distribution centre in Prague.
The new role is based at Savills’ office in the Czech capital.
Stuart Jordan, managing director and head of investment at Savills CZ&SK, said: ‘Chris offers deep experience across the sector and has demonstrated leadership in spearheading multiple complex projects and managing large-scale organisational change.
‘Chris takes over the mantle from Jaroslav Kaizr who has established our industrial platform over the last two years and who will continue to work with Savills on a strategic project basis.’
LaRue said: ‘I look forward to helping our clients execute effective real estate and business solutions by combining many years of experience as a trusted advisor and as someone who understands first hand many of the challenges that accompany those in the logistics, ecommerce and manufacturing industries.’
